In-care and Aftercare: Walking with Them - Inside and Beyond the Gate
Rehabilitation does not end at the prison gate. That is why, in December 2025, SBG launched our Incare & Aftercare Support Program at New Keffi Correctional Center.
This initiative focuses on both those still behind bars and those newly released. We provided practical support, emotional encouragement, and a clear message: you are not alone on this journey.
Every donation, every visit, and every listening ear planted a seed of hope. When someone feels truly supported both inside and after they walk out, the chance of lasting change grows stronger.
Your support truly changes lives. One person at a time. One step at a time.
We Raise a Sound: A Worship Experience
In December 2025, the walls of New Keffi Correctional Center rang with something different. A pure and unfiltered worship.
“We Raise A Sound” was more than an event. It was a sacred moment where inmates and volunteers lifted their voices together, declaring that even in confinement, praise is still possible. Hands were raised, hearts were stirred, and the presence of God was tangible.
For many, it was the first time in a long while that they felt truly free. That is the power of worship: it reminds us that no chain can hold back the sound of hope.
We left New Keffi knowing that something eternal had been planted.

On Friday 26th September 2025, SBG Rehabilitation and Reintegration Initiative joined forces with Inmate Rebuilders for a powerful Instagram Live conversation.
Hosted by Gracelia Ihiabe (Founder of SBG) alongside Temitope Bamisaiye and Mofiyinfowa Aladesuyi of Inmate Rebuilders, the discussion explored a vital question: Can true rehabilitation happen without intentional reintegration, and can reintegration succeed without solid rehabilitation?
For one hour, hearts and minds were stirred as the team unpacked the deep connection between healing inside the prison walls and building a new life after release. It was a rich exchange of insight, experience, and hope.
This conversation reminded us once again that restoration is never a one sided journey. Both rehabilitation and reintegration must walk hand in hand if lasting change is to take root.

Prison Outreach – Kuje Prison, Abuja
In December 2024, SBG Rehabilitation and Reintegration Initiative stepped into Kuje Prison, Abuja, with one simple mandate: to remind every soul that they are seen, valued, and loved by God.
Volunteers and partners came together to share the message of hope, offer practical support, and create moments of genuine human connection inside the facility. It was more than an outreach — it was a declaration that no one is beyond the reach of grace.
That day, we saw lives light up, tears of relief, and hearts begin to open to the possibility of a new beginning. This is the heart of what we do: walking into the hard places and leaving the fragrance of God’s love behind.
